Magical First Look

Brad and Cara opted to do a first look so that they could spend time together before the ceremony. Cara looked beautiful in an exquisite off-the-shoulder A-line lace gown, setting the tone for the day's magic. Brad looked dapper in a black suit with a dark teal tie and a coral boutonniere. After their emotional first look, the couple retreated to the private suite at our wedding venue in Illinois where they exchanged vows. We loved that they created such an intimate moment between the two of them before joining their guests!

Capturing the Beauty of the City

When Brad and Cara were done with their first look, they hopped on a bus with their wedding party to go take photos. Our venue's central location played a pivotal role as the couple ventured offsite to capture stunning photos amidst Elgin’s most picturesque spots. Cara’s bridesmaids looked stunning in their dark teal dresses which looked especially beautiful with the scenery around them. They carried bouquets of coral, peach, and white flowers to match Cara’s which popped against their dark dresses.

Emotional Ceremony

After photos, it was time for the ceremony. The couple kept the ceremony decor to a minimum as our wedding venue in Illinois has a beautiful brick wall that makes for a perfect ceremony backdrop. As Cara walked down the aisle, escorted by her mother, you could see how much love Brad and Cara have for each other. After a sweet and sentimental ceremony, it was time to celebrate!

A Sweet and Artful Masterpiece: The Cake

One of our favorite details of the night was the couple’s cake. Their three-tier cake took center stage, its layers artfully crafted with light blue, white, and gold accents along with coral and white flowers. The cake topper added a unique touch as it was a cartoon figurine of the couple with them wearing glasses which fit the couple perfectly.

As the evening progressed, the couple stole a moment to capture their love outside under the embrace of the evening light. First dances followed, then the dance floor beckoned, drawing guests into a night of celebration, laughter, and unforgettable memories. But the fun didn't end there; Cara and Brad added a touch of nostalgia by playing our arcade games before the evening was over.
